This Open Workshop is part of ISLO one-year Dance and Somatics programme – more info and booking details here

This one-week course serves as an introduction to Contact Improvisation. We will identify the physical sensations from which we can develop the perceptual skills which lie at the heart of CI and explore improvisational scores that reveal different types of CI vocabulary. The aim is to give everyone the skills and confidence to begin to the explore the world of CI and underlying this is the cultivation of safety while dancing in close contact with another.
