Individual Sessions

Feldenkrais Method tailored to your individual needs and supplemented with my experience of a wide range of somatic practices

Individual sessions are an inquiry into how you inhabit yourself. We explore the patterns of attention and organization that shape your experience through exploring subtle relationships between intention and action, between how you imagine yourself moving and how you actually move.

The process works through gentle touch and movement that speaks directly to your nervous system. Framed as a Feldenkrais Functional Integration session. I also draw on other somatic touch practices to support my work. By slowing down and attending to sensation, we create space for new learning to unfold. This is education in its truest sense—awakening what already knows how to learn.

People come for many reasons ...

There's something you'd like to do better

Performance enhancement is our goal whatever your starting point. The same process enables us to learn to take our first steps remains available to us to make our lives a journey of continual refinement.

Recovering from or avoiding injury

Accidents happen and sometimes aches and pains sneak up on you. If you get injured I can help you to recover more quickly and completely. And we can deal with long-term patterns that make life more comfortable.

Simple curiosity

Some people find the whole process of experiential learning fascinating and pleasureable in itself. With no specific aim they are open to noticing changes on a more systemic level. They enjoy the benefits wherever they show up

I've helped people:
